Alternate Mobility Adventure Seekers promoted integrated recreation experiences among the disabled and able-bodied student population at Boise State. The student organization provided opportunities for people with disabilities to travel, see landmarks and wilderness spots, and enjoy new experiences. In 1998, the club went to Washington D.C. to campaign for accessibility to camping and mountainous areas. That trip particularly focused on the airstrips near Big Creek.
