Alpha Eta Rho brought an airplane to campus in 1981.

1970-1987

Alpha Eta Rho was an aviation fraternity dedicated to promoting all aspects of aviation both at Boise State and in the local community. The organization hoped to broaden the horizons of those interested in pursuing aviation. They also wanted to promote contact among members and experts in the aviation industry.

Any person with a pilot’s license or student was eligible for membership. The club would often attend “airmeets,” in which various flying organizations would bring teams to represent them in competitive events.
