1956-1976

Tau Alpha Pi, a co-ed fraternity, consisted of students of five on-campus vocational shops who maintained a B average. The object of the society was to promote scholarship, develop leadership, encourage good character, and to cultivate fellowship among vocational and terminal business students. Their motto was “Theory and Practice.”

Activities were:

  • Technical Trade Students united to support a candidate for study body president
  • Hobo March
  • 1973 Hobo March brought in over $7000
