Young Women’s Christian Association

1988-1989

The Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) drew together women of diverse experiences and faiths who wanted to be responsible citizens. The group hoped the lives of their members would be open to new understanding and deeper relationships, so that together they could join in the struggle for peace and justice, freedom and dignity for all people.
