M.S. Scholarships and Funding

Currently, the Biomolecular Sciences M.S. Program is self-funded. This means that the program does not have the ability to provide funded graduate assistantships (teaching or research). However, students are encouraged to contact individual faculty to see whether they have grant-funded research assistantships (RAs) available. Refer to the links below for additional scholarships and funding opportunities (these are the same as on the Funding Opportunities Tab):

  • Graduate Student Financial Aid: The Financial Aid Office offers insight into graduate aid as it differs from undergraduate aid, including how to check for eligibility as well as how to apply for federal aid.
  • Graduate Student Scholarships: The Scholarships Office provides a step-by-step process for applying for different types of scholarships. These include the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA), Boise State Associated Scholarships, the Graduate Merit-Based Gem Scholarship, and Private Scholarships.
  • Graduate College Funding Opportunities: The Graduate College has put together information and resources on Graduate Assistantships, Scholarships and Fellowships, and Funding for International Students.
  • Graduate Tuition and Fees: The cost of attendance for graduate students.
