Chemistry Faculty to be Published

A paper co-authored by Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry Faculty will be published in the Biomolecular NMR Assignments Journal. Drs. Rajesh Nagarajan and Lisa Warner collaborated with Sayeed Chowdhury and Eric Baggs from the Biomolecular Research Center. “H, 13 C and 15 N backbone and sidechain assignment of the Burkholderia mallei acyl carrier protein” is their second of the year.

Biomolecular NMR Assignments publishes sequence-specific resonance assignments for proteins and nucleic acids as Assignment Notes. Publication in the journal makes resonance assignments data available to researchers through a public database at Biological Magnetic Resonance Data Bank (BMRB). Assignment Notes are published online and in a biannual print edition.

We here at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry would like to congratulate Dr. Nagarajan, Dr. Warner and their co-authors. We’re quite proud of the contributions that their research provides.
