Dr. Hunt came to Boise State in 2014. Prior to joining the Department of Marketing, he was an assistant professor at the University of Wyoming. He also taught at three other colleges.

Teaching for over 10 years, Dr. David Hunt’s ultimate focus is centered towards improving the field of marketing education in order to further establish best practices and advances for other educators and students. Using experiential learning projects within marketing management courses he provides students with the challenge of integrating new marketing knowledge with their own experience and apply this to various business contexts.

His research interests incorporate fear-based communications and how they become integrated either to influence a consumer’s health or purchasing decisions.
