We are proud of our marketing students who receive the Outstanding Graduate and Signature Student Awards. To receive the Signature Student Award, a COBE student must exemplify a passion for learning, strong leadership and community engagement. Outstanding Graduate students make a positive impact and contribute to their classes and to the Department of Marketing while maintaining excellent academic records.

I am incredibly excited and honored to have been named the COBE Outstanding Graduate in Marketing. My time at Boise State has been a transformative journey, fostering growth in numerous aspects of my life. I am profoundly grateful to all my exceptional professors and mentors whose unwavering support and invaluable knowledge have played a pivotal role in shaping the person I am today. As I embark on my next chapter at the University of Colorado to pursue my master’s in analytics, I eagerly anticipate the opportunities that await me and am dedicated to making the most of them. I am honored to be recognized as a Signature Student by the Boise State’s Department of Marketing. The past four years at COBE have given me so many growth opportunities, both professionally and personally. My journey in marketing began with high school classes that ignited my passion, guiding me through my time at Boise State. Abigail Greeno
I am set to graduate in May 2024 with a marketing degree and a psychology minor. I have been at Boise State for all four of my undergrad years. I have been able to utilize the skills I have gained through COBE to help me in various marketing positions. I have held an on-campus club position as president. I am extremely grateful for my experiences in COBE and am excited to see where the future takes me.

It is an honor to be recognized as the COBE Outstanding Graduate for the Marketing Department before I graduate this May from COBE and the Honors College. All my wonderful professors, insightful classes, and time working as a teaching assistant have shaped my COBE experience and given me the skills to excel in all my future endeavors. This summer I will be interning at The Ad Council before pursuing my master’s in advertising from the University of Texas at Austin. I am graduating this spring with a degree in Marketing. I have been a student at Boise State University for 2 years. I transferred to Boise State after my first year at another university. I was born and raised in Boise and gained a whole new appreciation for it once I became a student here. I am thankful for the experiences I’ve had with COBE, from meeting new people to learning in many different courses. I’ve had the opportunity to film videos for COBE and earn credit for gaining real world marketing experience.
James Serpa
I am a junior studying marketing and digital media here at Boise State. To me marketing is all about taking data and research, then applying that in the business world. In the process of this application, I love to incorporate my creative passions of photography and video production. This summer I hope to intern with a large business to apply my learned skills in the corporate world.

Four years ago, I had one objective: graduate from Boise State University. I never imagined that during that four-year period I would also have: interned for the Athletics Department, worked for the Arbiter, studied abroad, served as a teaching assistant, received a minor in American Sign Language, and created what I hope will be lifelong friendships with my peers and professors. COBE supplied me not just with the skills necessary to succeed at Boise State but also the skills to embark on a career in marketing after graduation. I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for me. Go Broncos!

I am honored to be recognized as a Signature Student for the College of Business and Economics. I am a senior, majoring in marketing and I plan to graduate in May 2023. I have loved my college experience the past four years. I am thankful for my professors that I have had along the way as they have guided me to where I am. I am part of Alpha Chi Omega and the Women in Business Association. Boise State gave me opportunities that I will always cherish as well as tools to succeed individually and professionally. After the last four years of facing many challenges in college, I will finally graduate with my degree in marketing from COBE. I have created a legacy at Boise State by founding the “Women in STEM, Medicine, and Law” scholarship, and I want to use my marketing degree to continue to lead a life and career that works to uplift women and all people.

I am honored to be recognized as a Signature Student for the College of Business and Economics. I am a first-generation student, double majoring in marketing and supply chain management. I have thoroughly enjoyed the past three years at Boise State and COBE. It is bittersweet that I will be graduating next year, but I am excited to continue my journey and begin chasing after my goal of being the first in my family to attain a master’s degree. I have all of my professors, tutors, and classmates to thank for the amazing experiences I have had at Boise State.

It is an honor to join an esteemed group of Signature Student honorees. This May, I will graduate with a Marketing BBA and certificates in Business Analytics and Digital Media. Boise State has given me so many opportunities such as a Business 101 Teaching Assistant, Vice President of External Recruitment for the Panhellenic Council, and a Marketing and Promotions Internship with Boise State Athletics. As an Idaho native, I grew up with my eyes on attending Boise State. To be recognized as the Department of Marketing’s Outstanding Graduate is an honor. My College of Business and Economics education connected me with like-minded peers, challenged me personally and professionally, and prepped me to problem-solve my way through whatever life holds next. On-campus, I’ve been involved in Business Professionals of America, Alpha Kappa Psi, and ASBSU. Outside of academics, I enjoy reading, rock climbing, and hiking. After graduating, I’m excited to connect my passions with the work I do to create a fulfilling life!

I am so honored to be recognized as a College of Business and Economics Signature Student. In December, I will graduate with a double major in marketing and communication. After graduation, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to begin working as a marketing content manager for a local sustainable water company called Proud Source Water. I am so excited to continue on the path of using business to create social and environmental change. I am incredibly honored to receive the College of Business and Economics Signature Student Award this semester. I’m a junior pursuing a degree in marketing with a minor in American Sign Language, and I work as a marketing and promotions intern for the Boise State Athletics Department. I plan to study abroad this summer in London and graduate next fall. I hope to continue my career in sports marketing with the knowledge I’ve gained from College of Business and Economics and the internship opportunities provided. I’m grateful for everything Boise State University has given me, and I couldn’t have come this far without my professors. Once a Bronco, always a Bronco!

As I look back and reflect on who I was four years ago, and who I am now, graduating with a bachelor’s in marketing and finance and planning to pursue an MBA at the University of Oregon, I can’t help but think about how grateful I am for everyone who made it all possible. I’m incredibly thankful for my professors, who went beyond their call of duty to set me up for success; my coaches, who provided me with the strength to push beyond the edge of my comfort zone; and my teammates, who have propelled me to new heights.

I am beyond honored to be receiving the COBE Signature Student Award and could not be more grateful for Boise State and all it has given me. I will be graduating this spring, May 2021, with honors and a degree in marketing. I moved here four short years ago and throughout my college career, I served on the executive board for Alpha Xi Delta, I had the opportunity to intern at three great local companies and made relationships that will last a lifetime. I could not have made it through the years without the help and advice from some truly phenomenal professors, you all know who you are, and of course the support of my amazing family and friends. Boise has been my home for the past four years and I am not ready to leave it yet. After I graduate, I plan on staying in Boise and go forward knowing that because of the great lessons Boise State has taught me, I will be able to tackle whatever comes my way. I am proud to call this school my soon-to-be alma mater and as always, Go Broncos!

Hello! I am a junior majoring in business administration and marketing! I am currently a marketing assistant for Dining Services on campus and Boise State Extended Studies. Following my time at Boise State, I plan to continue my education and complete a Sports Master’s of Business Administration. I found my love for digital marketing over the past three years and I hope to work for a team in the National Hockey League in their marketing department. GO BRONCOS!
