Not a business major?

No problem! The program is open to all students at Boise State University.

Who can enroll in the program?

Any Boise State student, regardless of major, can participate.

How do I sign up for the Professional Sales certificate?

Students can register for courses through Boise State’s course enrollment system and consult with the program director for guidance.

What is the Professional Sales Certificate?

What courses are required?

  • MKTG 320 – Introduction to Professional Sales (3 credits) or MKTG 301 Principals of Marketing (3 credits)
  • MKTG 321 – Professional Selling (3 credits)
  • MKTG 497 – Advanced Sales and Strategy (3 credits)

How long does it take to complete?

Typically one to two semesters, depending on course availability.

Can non-business students complete the certificate?

Yes! The certificate is designed to be accessible to students from all disciplines.

Are there any prerequisites?

Non-business students may need department approval to enroll in some courses.
