Maya Duratovic – Bosnia

Bio

Maya opened her own hair salon before she became intrigued with how her business operated and went on to receive her bachelor’s degree in human resources and business management. With her newfound business knowledge, she developed an interest in promoting, helping and working for non-profit organizations.

Maya, known for her hard work ethic in the community, is now a member of several non-profit organizations and she focuses mainly on the diversity in Boise. She uses her connections and business knowledge to expand non-profit organizations that work on bringing international connections to Boise. During her undergrad, she took the opportunity to travel to Spain to teach English. Because she is unable to travel everywhere in the world, her goal is to bring the world to Boise.
