Adjustable/Collapsible Stand for TISABAS Conveyor Unit
Ramper Innovations is a company focused on designing solutions to streamline the logistics of airport tarmac workers. They designed a portable, collapsible conveyor belt (“TISABAS”) to assist in loading and unloading luggage in the belly of aircraft. Looking to expand the applications of the device, Ramper Innovations challenged team PORCO (from PORtable COnveyor) to create a stand that complements the existing TISABAS unit. The team determined that the stand must be able to collapse and expand with TISABAS, as well as change height off the ground. It was also requested to avoid sweeping changes on the design of TISABAS.
