2027 Great Ideas for Teaching and Learning Summit: Navigating AI in the Classroom
The Great Ideas for Teaching and Learning Summit is an annual opportunity for educators across campus to gather in community to focus on a timely topic in teaching and learning. The theme for the 2027 Great Ideas for Teaching and Learning Summit is “AI-Aware Teaching” and will take place on March 26th, 2027. Our keynote speaker and workshop facilitator will be Marc Watkins, co-author of The Norton Guide to AI-Aware Teaching.
The Great Ideas for Teaching and Learning Summit will provide multiple opportunities for Boise State faculty to explore and share strategies for making AI-Aware teaching decisions. In addition to the keynote, the day will include workshops, lightning talks, and posters from Boise State faculty and students.
Registration for the Great Ideas for Teaching and Learning Summit will open in January. Participants can attend in person or remotely, and join us for all sessions or just one or two. All participants (regardless of modality) will receive a copy of The Norton Guide to AI-Aware Teaching.
