SparkShop: Creating Authentic Summative Assessments

By the end of this SparkShop, participants will be able to identify an authentic assessment they could use in their course.

During this SparkShop, participants will explore and define ‘authentic assessments’. Participants will learn about the benefits of authentic, forward-looking assessments. Finally, participants will brainstorm and identify authentic assessments for their discipline and/or courses.
