Student Perceptions of the Online Certificate in Applied Public Administration

Chris Birdsall, PhD, School of Public Service

About the project

The School of Public Administration recently launched an online certificate in Applied Public Administration. Dr. Birdsall has surveyed students involved in both the online and in-person programs of public administration to evaluate the differences in their expectations and preferences for the course. He will evaluate the reasons students have for choosing either an online or an in-person program, what they are looking for, and how well they learn in each setting.
