eCampus Center AI Faculty Research Fellowship

Applications are now open for the eCampus Center Artificial Intelligence (AI) Research Fellowship, which will run from summer 2024 to spring 2025. This faculty cohort is dedicated to exploring novel research questions arising from the implementation of AI in online education, including the role of AI in online teaching and learning, innovations in AI technologies, and other new AI applications.

About the Fellowship

The fellowship is a prestigious opportunity offered by the eCampus Center within the Division of Extended Studies at Boise State University, with the goal to support actionable research that significantly impacts online student learning. Faculty members teaching online at Boise State University, with a focus on conducting AI-related research in online educational settings, are eligible to apply. 

Selected faculty members will receive up to $5,000 in funding to support their research endeavors, with additional financial support available for conference presentations. Fellows will also benefit from mentorship and support provided by the eCampus Center Research and Innovation Team, ensuring the effective, inclusive, and ethical conduct of their research projects.

Application Information

The application deadline is April 30, 2024, and notifications of acceptance or rejection will be sent out by May 7, 2024.
