Intern Teachers Share Research at the Fall 2015 Inquiry Fair

Boise State intern teachers presented inquiry research findings at the Fall 2015 Inquiry Fair on November 30 in the Student Union Building.

Over 70 intern teachers studying in elementary and secondary teacher preparation programs presented their findings at the two-hour event.

Examples of presentation titles include:

  • Improving the Effectiveness of Positive Behavior Reward Systems in Schools, Madison Altorfer
  • Sustained Silent Reading: Are Cognition and Learning Enhanced?, Kara Brocksome
  • Poetry and the Digital Native: Teaching Poetry to 8th Graders in the 21st Century, Adam Nunez
  • Classroom Management: The Responsibilities of Teachers and Students, Victor Olivares
  • Effective Instructional Strategies to Manage Engagement and Behavior, Lauren Denny
