Boise State Overwatch secures NACE conference championship

Boise State, the current NACE Overwatch national champions, are well on their way to a repeat performance this spring. The Broncos finished 1st place in the West-Central Division for the season and now move on to the playoffs. This accomplishment caps off a perfect 7-0 regular season for the Broncos in NACE.

The Broncos had an incredible performance last semester in NACE, winning the championship outright for the first time in program history. The Broncos faced off against very tough teams such as Northwood and UT Dallas in the fall postseason, and swept both of them on their way to the trophy. Local news stations covered Boise States victory due to how monumental the season was. The Broncos entered the spring semester with the same roster from the fall, and had great expectations put on them, which they appear to be fullfilling.

The upcoming Overwatch post season is looking to be a very exciting one for Boise Sate. Not only will the Overwatch team face off in the NACE championships but they are also traveling to Arlington TX to compete in the CECC Commissioners Cup. Boise State also remains in the running for the ABC Overwatch championships, which will start their postseason this April. Overall, it should be a very fun postseason for Boise State fans rooting for the Broncos.
