This page contains a table that lists current local, state, and private scholarships. New scholarships are added as we become aware of them, so check this site frequently to find the most current scholarship opportunities.

Boise State University does not endorse any specific website and is not responsible for the content on the various scholarship websites. We ask companies and organizations to register with a national scholarship search website.

We also list scholarship information on the bulletin board outside of the Financial Aid Office in the Administration Building.

ISACA Boise Chapter – The ISACA Boise Chapter is proud to offer a $1,000 scholarship for the 2025-2026 academic school year. This scholarship is to promote students studying in the related fields of: Computer Science, Information Systems and Security, Information Assurance, Secure Software Development, or Accounting (IT audit focus). 02/25/2025
Grandio Greenhouses Sustainability Scholarship – Backyard Living Source, Inc. and the Grandio Greenhouses® will be offering $500 each to 5 eligible applicants who will be randomly selected. Eligible applicants will be pursuing an education in horticulture, agriculture, or business. Recipients must attend school the semester the scholarship is awarded. 11/30/2024
Gymreapers 2025 Athletic Scholarships Program – Gymreapers is offering 5, $1000 scholarships to student-athletes who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement while actively participating in a college sports team or athletic club.

COCA-COLA Scholars Foundation – To be eligible for the COCA-COLA Scholars Foundation, applicants must be current high school/home-schooled student, U.S. citizen and planning to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. college or university. 09/30/2024
U.S. News Scholarship Finder – The U.S. News Scholarship Finder helps narrow scholarships and financial aid options by filtering by stats such as test scores, location, type of award and school type.Varies
Hagan Scholarship Foundation – The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, providing recipients “regardless of nationality” with the opportunity to achieve their goals and graduate college debt-free. The intended recipient is a high-achieving goal-driven student having substantial financial need.12/01/2024
Idaho AGC – The Idaho AGC is the state’s largest network of construction professionals. This scholarship awards $1500 to full-time, higher education students seeking a career in construction.05/31/2024
The Lightfoot Foundation Scholarship – The Lightfoot Foundation is a non-profit organization helping Treasure Valley students wishing to further their education. Their scholarship application is open from 3/1 to 4/15 annually. Please visit the Lightfoot Foundation website at http://lightfootfoundation.com/ to apply.April 15 (Annually)
Sipes Foundation-Applications are accepted each year from upper-division and graduate students majoring in any earth science, geophysics, petroleum or geological engineering who are attending a U.S.-based university or college, have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher, and are U.S. Citizens.07/31/2024

National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation– In addition to our general scholarships of $2,500, multiple private individuals and donors have invested in the future of the restaurant industry by providing resources for scholarships to students like you. Criteria for each named scholarship is unique and awards can range from $2,500 to $10,000. Army ROTC– offers scholarships and financial assistance to qualified students. Those who receive scholarships and financial assistance will have a virtually guaranteed job as a leader in the US Army upon graduation.
