Meet your instructor, Alli Olson!

Alli Olson, a Boise native, has been practicing yoga on and off for 8 years. Her practice grew from simple stretches a physical therapist gave her to relieve back pain and quickly moved into self-taught flows that differed day-to-day depending on what was needed. She advanced and refined her practice while taking a 200 hour Alignment Yoga teacher training in Koh Phangan, Thailand that focused on anatomy and proper alignment of the physical body before completing a Vipassana (silent) meditation in Nepal. After returning to Boise and starting her own Yoga business, Alli strives to ensure that each one of her students is able to get the most out of their practice in the safest way. By finding stability in the different postures, or asanas, one can start to deepen their breath and turn their attention inward. Alli loves teaching Restorative Yoga because to her, it is the bridge between yoga and meditation that is easily accessible to all. It allows the practitioner’s body to find a comfortable and secure position within each relaxing asana, which helps calm the mind and puts the body into a restful and regenerative state.
