    Adrianna Berry

    Counseling Trainee

    Upon graduating high school, Adrianna felt she wanted to follow in her families’ footsteps to serve her country.  She joined the United States Navy and became a Logistics Specialist in an Aviation Squadron.  While stationed in Whidbey Island, Washington, Adrianna fell in love with the outdoors, hiking and mountains. When her enlistment was over, she decided to attend college using her Post 9/11 GI Bill.

    Adrianna earned her bachelor’s degree from Washington State University in social sciences with an emphasis in psychology and anthropology. She is currently in her third year of graduate school and will soon earn her master’s degree in counseling with a special focus on addiction.  Adrianna will graduate from Boise State University in May of 2020 and is currently studying for licensure to become a Licensed Professional Counselor.

    Adrianna has worked with college students ranging from early adult to middle and late adult with varying mental and medical disorders.  Theoretically, she describes herself as an Existentialist and appreciates deep discussion about the four main reasons of anxiety.  Adrianna’s counseling approach is empowering, empathic, and humanistic. She works to encourage clients to find what gives their life meaning and purpose and how they can live each day with more value.

    When not counseling, Adrianna will be spending time with her one-year-old son, husband and german shepherd (adorably named Thomas).  She loves being outdoors and playing in the backyard with her family.  Adrianna also loves to watch documentaries and going to concerts.

    Alison Radcliffe, PhD, LP

    Psychologist

    Alison earned a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Wayne State University, in Detroit, Michigan in 2009. As part of her graduate work, she completed an internship in Health Psychology with Henry Ford Hospital, in Detroit, Michigan. She believes that therapy is an opportunity for individuals to learn and apply a variety of tools to help manage major stressors as well as day to day events. Alison sees herself as a coach or mentor, working with clients to fine tune the skills they need to make their world a place where they are able to feel comfortable. She spends her free time with family, friends, and enjoys volunteering in the community.

These approaches assist those struggling with anxiety, depression and life transitions. Seeing people meet their life goals and grow is Amy’s favorite part of her job. When not working, Amy is blessed with dear friends and family to spend time with. She also enjoys listening to vinyl records, watching documentaries and cooking.

    Cara received her Bachelor in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Graphic Design from Boise State University in 2014.  During her sophomore year, she became a promotions intern at University Health Services and has been a part of the promotions and marketing team ever since. Cara is responsible for the graphic design and promotion of all items housed under University Health Services. Her favorite part of the job is the opportunity to be creative and work on a variety of projects daily. In her spare time, she enjoys walking her dog, cooking, and thrift shopping.

After completing his training, Chris continued his education by receving a bachelor’s degree in social work.Over the course of his education, Chris has worked with children as a court-appointed special advocate (CASA), conducted intake counseling with veterans at the Vet Center, and is currently working with adults as a case manager at Pathways Community Crisis Center of SW Idaho. Chris enjoyes biking to school and work as much as possible, camping, hiking, running, and playing bard games with his wife.

    Christy is currently working on completing her Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Management with an emphasis on Cybersecurity and a minor in Psychology and Criminal Justice at Boise State University. She has eight years of experience working in customer service with a variety of different businesses.  Throughout these jobs, her focus was on the customer and providing them with an excellent experience. She continued her education in Chicago obtaining her registered nursing license in 2002. She received her Master’s degree in Family Practice at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix in 2016. She worked in various fields in nursing specializing in cardiology and electrophysiology but now loves the variety in family practice. She strives to reach a management plan collaboratively with her clients taking into consideration their goals, time and cost. She enjoys offering alternative options and staying current in the constantly evolving medical world. In her free time, she loves to be outdoors year-round exercising, traveling, reading and exploring with her husband and their two very active dogs. She also volunteers at the Idaho Humane Society and loves doing outreach programs and medical missions.

She spends her free time on the river/outdoors with friends and family.

    Hunter was born in San Diego and moved to Boise when she was five years old. For 10 years, she was a competitive figure skater. She joined the Health Services team in summer 2018 and loves working in customer service. She values the opportunity to help people in this role.     Massage Therapist

    As a Licensed Massage Therapist, Jennifer joined the University Health Services team in Spring of 2016. She specializes in deep tissue, trigger point therapy, acupressure and aromatherapy for pain relief. Jennifer has over 15 years of experience in providing massage therapy. Jennifer’s favorite aspect of her job is to provide clients with educational tips that promote health and well being that can be incorporated into their daily routines.     Jennifer earned her Associates Degree from Treasure Valley Community College, and became a registered Medical Assistant certified through American Medical Technologist (AMT) in 2007. Prior to joining University Health Services in 2013, Jennifer worked in a variety of outpatient settings including home care, hospice, internal medicine, urology, urgent care, chronic pain and ear/nose/throat.  Jennifer enjoys working with students, faculty and staff and helping them stay healthy. In her free time, Jennifer can be found fly fishing or painting.

    Dr. Jones obtained her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX. Her psychiatry residency was completed at Pacific Presbyterian Medical Center in San Francisco, CA. In Idaho, she has worked in a wide variety of clinical and educational settings. Dr. Jones joined Health Services as a part-time employee in February of 2015, then making the transition to full time in September of 2015. Her professional interests include primary care psychiatry, women’s mental health issues, combining psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy and student health. She believes establishing and nurturing the doctor /patient alliance is vital to providing effective medical care. Dr. Jones works with students and employees to establish obtainable treatment goals. Helping students and employees achieve their best selves is an especially rewarding part of her job. She appreciates the natural beauty of Idaho and the infectious enthusiasm of Bronco football fans.

    Jerene has an AA Degree in Accounting and a CPC certification (Certified Professional Code/Auditor). She is currently working on completing her BA degree at Boise State University. Jerene has over thirty years’ experience in the medical field. For 21 years she was the Practice Administrator for the Spokane Psychiatric Clinic, and for five years she acted as the Accounting Specialist for a State Health Facility that provided mental health services in four NE Washington counties.     John Griffiths, BBA

    Business Manager

    John earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa. John joined Boise State University in 2010 as the Business Manager. In his current role, he is responsible for providing financial vision and support for University Health Services. Prior to joining the team at Boise State University, John held various finance and supply chain positions in the Boise region, most notably with Ore-Ida Foods and Cott Beverage. In his spare time, John enjoys camping, hiking, photography and golf.

    John earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa. John joined Boise State University in 2010 as the Business Manager. Professionally he is driven to advocate for all clients, the counseling profession and the efficacy of integrated health services.     Dr. Wolfe graduated with high honors with a bachelor’s degree in microbiology from the University of Montana in 1998. She then went on to complete her medical degree at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. She joined the Montana Family Medicine Residency program in Billings, MT, where she completed her residency training and served as Chief Resident. Dr. Wolfe then joined the United States Air Force, where she served as an active duty physician at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Great Falls, MT. After leaving active duty, she then joined a multispecialty clinic in Missoula, MT, where she practiced for five years.  Dr. Wolfe joined University Health Services in September of 2013 where her interests include general and procedural medicine, including skin biopsies and lesion removal, toenail removals, and IUD (intrauterine device) placement. In her free time, Dr. Wolfe enjoys spending time with her family and traveling, as well as participating in and watching a variety of different sports.

Susan has over 10 years of experience in the medical billing industry performing everything from supervision of a team, charge entry, deposit entry, submission of insurance claims, chart auditing, accounts receivable, and patient collections. Susan’s current position with Boise State University Health Services is; submission of Insurance claims, review of insurance payments for correct reimbursement, liaison between the patient, University Health Center, and Insurance companies, and claims follow up for unpaid or underpaid claims. Susan’s favorite aspect of the job is advising and educating the patient in the process to become advocates of their own personal health.

Susan has over 10 years of experience in the medical billing industry performing everything from supervision of a team, charge entry, deposit entry, submission of insurance claims, chart auditing, accounts receivable, and patient collections. Susan’s current position with Boise State University Health Services is; submission of Insurance claims, review of insurance payments for correct reimbursement, liaison between the patient, University Health Center, and Insurance companies, and claims follow up for unpaid or underpaid claims. Susan’s favorite aspect of the job is advising and educating the patient in the process to become advocates of their own personal health.

    Tracy Tew, LPN

    Licensed Practical Nurse

    Tracy earned her Licensed Practical Nursing degree through Idaho State University’s College of Technology in 2005. Tracy is originally from Southern California and upon graduating moved back to Huntington Beach with her husband. In 2008, Tracy and her husband returned to Idaho to settle in Boise. Tracy worked in areas such as clinical research, corrections, and orthopedics before joining Boise State University in August 2018. Outside of work, Tracy enjoys being a mother to her twin boys, camping, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

    Ron earned his Bachelor of Science in Health Informatics & Information Management with an emphasis in Informatics from Boise State University.  Ron has 14 years of experience in Information Technology and over 10 years specializing in Health Information Technology in the inpatient, and ambulatory setting. Ron serves as the expert for the technology that the makes the electronic practice management/medical record system(s) effective as possible and gets great satisfaction solving the unsolvable problem. In his free time, Ron enjoys spending time with family, staying fit, and keeping a tight fly line anywhere the fish are biting.

    Verla works as a medical assistant for Health Services and has been at Boise State for fourteen years. She helps with procedures, along with taking vitals, drawing blood and keeping patient flow running smoothly. Verla absolutely loves working with college students and likes to think of herself as a second mom to those students living away from home. The students keep her young and on her toes. Working with the students has helped her become more open-minded and accepting about the lives of young adults. Outside of the clinic Verla enjoys working in her yard and practicing her banjo. Although she will probably never join the Dixie Chicks band hopefully she will get good enough so someone will be able to recognize what tune she is playing.
