  • Aimee Albanese

    Counseling Intern

    Aimee is a Counseling Intern and is currently enrolled in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Idaho State University. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Lewis and Clark State College, and has spent time as an intern at a private practice in the Boise area. Aimee’s counseling approach is generalized, and leans into humanistic, Adlerian and Gestalt modalities. Her work emphasizes connection and awareness and uses the client and counselor relationship in order to facilitate adaptation, resiliency and growth. She strives to provide a safe and encouraging environment that facilitates client autonomy and self-healing capacity. Aimee’s clinical interests are broad and include grief/loss, trauma, sexuality, life transitions, self acceptance and identity, relationships, anxiety and depression. In her free time, Aimee enjoys any outdoor activity, leisurely reading, repeatedly watching romantic comedies, trying new foods, playing sports and walking her dog.

    Psychology Intern

    Alex is a Predoctoral Psychology Intern with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Portland State University. She completed her Master’s degree in Applied Psychological Science and is currently working towards her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Pacific University. She has experience working with individuals across the lifespan from age two to 75. Alex also has experience working in a variety of outpatient settings such as community mental health, schools and colleges, and private practice.     Customer Service Representative

    Anna is currently working on her Master’s in Public Administration at Boise State University. After she finished her Bachelor’s degree in Film Production in Perth, she worked for independent cinema and arts festivals in Australia. She also has 10 years of experience working in various customer service roles. Anna was born and raised in Estonia, she lived in Australia and New Zealand for ten years and recently moved to Boise. She joined the Health Services team in 2021 as a Customer Service Representative. Her favorite part of the job is providing great service and working in a University setting. In her spare time, Anna enjoys traveling to far-away places, eating exotic foods and exploring the Idaho wilderness.

    Alison Radcliffe, PhD

    Clinical Psychologist

    Alison earned a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Wayne State University, in Detroit, Michigan in 2009. As part of her graduate work, she completed an internship in Health Psychology with Henry Ford Hospital, in Detroit, Michigan. She believes that therapy is an opportunity for individuals to learn and apply a variety of tools to help manage major stressors as well as day to day events. Alison sees herself as a coach or mentor, working with clients to fine tune the skills they need to make their world a place where they are able to feel comfortable. She spends her free time with family, friends, and enjoys volunteering in the community.

She has experience working in community based mental health settings, including partial hospitalization and intensive community treatment. Her professional interests include working with individuals making life transitions, depression, anxiety, grief, career decisions, cultural concerns, serious mental illness and group therapy. Her approach to counseling emphasizes the therapeutic alliance between client and counselor with a focus on awareness, acceptance and growth. In her free time she enjoys cooking, travel, hiking with her dog, and running. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision.

    Brian studied psychology at The College of Idaho as an undergraduate, and in 2014 received his master’s in mental health counseling at Idaho State University. He joined the Health Services team at Boise State in 2020 after counseling at The College of Idaho’s health center for five years. Brian’s counseling approach is nondirective, draws primarily from person-centered and Gestalt therapy modalities, and emphasizes acceptance, awareness, and authentic connection between therapist and client. As a counselor, Brian is especially interested in grief/loss, trauma, sexuality, identity, self-esteem, boundaries, relationships, anger, assertiveness, cultural integration, and confidence & performance issues. He is an LGBTQ+ affirming counselor and is EMDR-trained. In his free time, Brian enjoys being active and outdoors, playing guitar, writing, creating, learning, and connecting with friends and family.

    Promotions Coordinator

    Cara received her Bachelor in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Graphic Design from Boise State University in 2014.  During her sophomore year, she became a promotions intern at University Health Services and has been a part of the promotions and marketing team ever since. Cara is responsible for the graphic design and promotion of all items housed under University Health Services. Her favorite part of the job is the opportunity to be creative and work on a variety of projects daily. In her spare time, she enjoys walking her dog, cooking, and thrift shopping.

Christie’s clinical interests are psychotherapy with the high school and college-aged population, focusing on anxiety, ADHD, depression, and personality disorders. Her approach draws from person-centered care, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and biopsychosocial models. In her free time, Christie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching the Buffalo Bills, and participating in a number of sporting activities.

She emphasizes and prioritizes the counseling relationship as an essential part of the growth process and will work alongside clients to help them gain awareness that might empower them to take responsibility for their choices and behaviors. Courtney’s clinical interests are broad and include grief/loss, identity, life transitions, self-worth, meaning-making, values-exploration, boundaries and relationships. Outside of work, you can find Courtney planning her next international backpacking trip, hiking, reading, or spending time with her friends, family and dogs.

  • Danya Krueger, LMSW

    Licensed Master Social Worker

    Danya is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and is currently pursuing training for her advanced clinical license. She holds a Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University, a Master of Business Administration from Boise State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Boise State University. Danya works with students, faculty, and staff in several capacities, serving as a part time-therapist in BSU Counseling Services, a part-time researcher in the BSU School of Social Work, and an adjunct faculty and club advisor at College of Western Idaho. Danya’s therapeutic approach is strengths-based, collaborative, and dynamic. She offers unconditional positive regard to each client, acknowledging that every individual has unique lived experiences and mental models from which they construct meaning, critically think, and intellectually grow. Danya employs a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities including solution-focused brief therapy (SFT & SFBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and mindfulness practices. Outside of work, Danya enjoys weekend adventuring with her life partner and two Airedale Terriers.

    Delainey Jones

    Health Educator, RDN, LD

    Delainey is a Registered Dietitian who attended Idaho State University’s dietetic internship, focusing on community nutrition. She earned her B.S. in Nutrition from California Polytechnic State University.

    As a Health Educator with the BroncoFit team, Delainey focuses on programming related to nutrition education, food insecurity, the campus garden, and student basic needs. She enjoys working with students to create a nourishing campus environment that encourages creativity and wellbeing.

    In her free time, Delainey loves hiking or snowshoeing in the Idaho wilderness areas with her dogs, working in the garden, baking (eating) sourdough bread, and really just spending as much time as possible in the great outdoors!

    Drew is a native of Boise, ID. After obtaining a massage certificate from the Academy of Professional Careers in 2003, she began an independent practice. She loves learning and went on to earn a B.S. Health Science degree from Boise State University in 2008. She has spent time volunteering for Peaceful Belly Farms, Garden City Community Clinic and local community acupuncture clinics in Boise, ID. She enjoys libraries, traveling, hiking, rock climbing and adventures of raising a family. She is passionate about the well being of the community and honors the gift that comes with hands-on therapeutics.

Heather obtained her Bachelor of Science Nursing degree from Boise State University in 2001. She has a strong background in Emergency and Critical Care nursing, with over 12 years of experience in a hospital setting.

    Heather enjoys making meaningful connections with her patients to build strong relationships. Using a holistic approach, she considers emotional and mental health as important as physical health. Heather strives to personalize care by considering specific individual needs. She believes in mentoring and supporting her patients, on their journey toward optimal health.

    Administrative Assistant

    Hunter was born in San Diego and moved to Boise when she was five years old. For 10 years, she was a competitive figure skater. His clinical interests include working with students, faculty and staff who struggle with anxiety and depressive issues especially in regards to relationships and major life transitions, counseling student-athletes, self-worth, LGBT+ issues, and group therapy. Professionally he is driven to advocate for all clients, the counseling profession and the efficacy of integrated health services. She looks forward to creating meaningful connections with her patients. On her off days, Phoebe enjoys exploring the Idaho Wilderness with her rescue pets or planning her next travel adventure.

She then went on to complete her medical degree at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. She joined the Montana Family Medicine Residency program in Billings, MT, where she completed her residency training and served as Chief Resident. Dr. Wolfe then joined the United States Air Force, where she served as an active duty physician at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Great Falls, MT. After leaving active duty, she then joined a multispecialty clinic in Missoula, MT, where she practiced for five years.  Dr. Wolfe joined University Health Services in September of 2013 where her interests include general and procedural medicine, including skin biopsies and lesion removal, toenail removals, and IUD (intrauterine device) placement. In her free time, Dr. Wolfe enjoys spending time with her family and traveling, as well as participating in and watching a variety of different sports.

    Ron earned his Bachelor of Science in Health Informatics & Information Management with an emphasis in Informatics from Boise State University.  Ron has 14 years of experience in Information Technology and over 10 years specializing in Health Information Technology in the inpatient, and ambulatory setting. Ron serves as the expert for the technology that the makes the electronic practice management/medical record system(s) effective as possible and gets great satisfaction solving the unsolvable problem. In his free time, Ron enjoys spending time with family, staying fit, and keeping a tight fly line anywhere the fish are biting.

She received her master’s degree in nursing from DePaul University in Chicago. She completed her Family Nurse Practitioner Post-Master’s Certificate at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas. Shannon has experience in Family Practice, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Mental Health, and Nursing Academics. Her goal as a clinician is to empower patients to reach their optimal health and wellbeing through education, screening, and health maintenance. She especially enjoys the opportunity to develop patient relationships to promote overall health outcomes.     Skyla received her LPN degree here in Idaho in April of 2021. She has clinical experience in geriatrics, psych and OB/ maternal health. She also received health care experience working as a CNA and as a Psychiatric Technician while going to school. Skyla joined the University Health Services team in May of 2021, shortly after graduating. Her favorite aspect of the job is providing patient care and acquiring health care experience with the students and faculty demographic. In her free time, Skyla enjoys spending time with her friends and family, and outdoor activities such as skiing, boating and hiking.

Susan’s favorite aspect of the job is advising and educating the patient in the process to become advocates of their own personal health.

    Tessa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She attended Boise State University where she has earned both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Social Work. Her focus has been working in integrated medical settings to support healing and wellness with holistic care. She uses a mind-body approach to support wellbeing drawing from Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, The Polyvagal Theory, strengths based and person-centered care. Additionally, she is a trained yoga teacher. Tessa believes making time to play every day is the key to her wellbeing. She enjoys all things embodied, being outdoors, and anything to promote laughter.
