Appointments Information and Policies

How to Schedule an Appointment:

  • If you are experiencing a life threatening emergency please call 911!
  • To schedule an appointment please call (208) 426-1459 (choose option 4) during our hours of operation. We recommend scheduling appointments when possible to reduce your wait time.
  • We are now offering both in-person and telehealth appointments. Please call us at (208) 426-1459, or talk with your provider to see if your medical, counseling, or psychiatry appointment is appropriate for telehealth services via Zoom’s HIPAA-compliant platform.

Urgent Care

Urgent care is offered during our hours of operation for patients experiencing acute symptoms or illnesses. These are not scheduled appointments and therefore subject to a wait time dependent on the volume of patients being seen. It is based on a first come first serve basis.

Examples of common acute illnesses are:

  • Cold and flu
  • Headaches & sore throat
  • Ear & sinus infections

Crisis Counseling

If you are experiencing distress and can’t wait for a scheduled appointment with a counseling provider, we have a crisis counselor available during our hours of operation. Clients may walk in or call the clinic at (208) 426-1459 and ask to speak to one of our crisis counselors.

Cancelling Appointments:

If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, please contact Health Services by phone (208) 426-1459 before your scheduled appointment. Since appointments are in high demand, your prompt cancellation will give another patient the opportunity to access timely healthcare services.

Late Arrival:

If you are more than 10 minutes late for your scheduled appointment, you may be asked to reschedule to ensure others are seen in a timely manner. Thank you for your understanding with this policy.

No-Show Fee:

If you miss an appointment and forget to cancel before your appointment time, you will be charged a no-show fee of $40.00.
