Telehealth

We are now offering Telehealth appointments through Boise State Health Services. These sessions are being offered for Medical, Counseling, and Psychiatry services. Telehealth services will be billed to the patient’s insurance company. Please note we now accept Idaho Medicaid insurance.

Interested in a Telehealth visit?

Telehealth is a virtual visit with providers from our Medical, Counseling, and Psychiatry services staff from the comfort of your own home using a smartphone, tablet, or computer.

  • Telehealth is a convenient way to provide counseling, treat common illnesses and manage some chronic conditions.
  • We are offering Telehealth at no out of pocket cost to the member for covered services–check with your provider to see if Telehealth services are covered.
  • We do not use telehealth if you are dealing with an emergent or threatening condition and may instead require you to seek in-person care by one of our providers.

What services can I receive via telehealth?

Telehealth is a great option for anything not emergent or threatening. Check out our Counseling Services or our Medical Services page to get an idea of the many services we provide that would work in a telehealth format.
