Who does the advising for Graduate students?

We have re-organized the advising chain of command.  The Graduate Coordinator will remain the official advisor of all graduate students.  The Supervisory committee chair — ideally chosen by the end of the second semester for a full time graduate student — shall become the consultant (essentially another advisor) on all matters relating to coursework and culminating projects.  The Graduate coordinator will remain the official advisor for such things paperwork and forms and more forms and all other questions.
