First Year Student Housing

First-year students coming to Boise State directly from high school (ages 17-19)* who are enrolled in 12 or more credits, can choose from residence halls and some suite-style options.

*If the Resident is not yet eighteen (18) years of age at the time this Agreement is executed, the Resident’s parent or legal guardian must also execute and be a party to this Agreement before the University can assign the Resident to a Unit. Residents must turn eighteen (18) prior to the end of the Academic Year.

Sophomore and Above Housing

Be enrolled in at least 12 credits. Plus ONE of the following:

  • Be at least 20 years old by move in day
  • 19 years old at the time of application with 26 credits and has a high school graduation date prior to application opening
  • Have successfully lived on campus for one year
  • Be a graduate student taking 9+ credits
