First Year Student Housing
First-year students coming to Boise State directly from high school (ages 17-19)* can choose from residence halls and some suite-style options.
*If the Resident is not yet eighteen (18) years of age at the time this Agreement is executed, the Resident’s parent or legal guardian must also execute and be a party to this Agreement before the University can assign the Resident to a Unit. Residents must turn eighteen (18) prior to the end of the Academic Year.
Sophomore and Above Housing
To live in sophomore and above housing, students must meet one of the following criteria:
- Be at least 20 years old by move in day
- 19 years old at the time of application with 26 credits and has a high school graduation date prior to application opening
- Have successfully lived on campus for one year
- Be a graduate student taking 9+ credits
Apartment Housing
The University Apartments offer long-term housing options for students with families, couples, and graduate students. Yale Court is shared housing available for single graduate students.
