Tina Freeman, MHS
Tina Freeman is the Graduate Admissions Coordinator and Course Scheduling Manager for the Department of Kinesiology at Boise State University. She came to work for Boise State 2010, starting in University Health Services. She was hired as an Administrative Assistant to the Department of Kinesiology in 2011, moving into the role of Academic Advisor shortly thereafter.
Freeman is a proud Boise State Alumni (‘83, ‘12) with a graduate degree in Health Science; Health Promotion, and a Graduate Certificate in Gerontology, as well as a Bachelors of Health Administration from Baker College. Prior to joining Boise State, Freeman worked in a variety of healthcare settings, including Idaho State University’s Dental Residency program. She was also a gymnastics coach for several years. Her academic interests include curriculum, and personal and global health and wellness.
Freeman approaches her work with a sense of empathy and inclusion, providing excellent care and service to students, staff and faculty. She enjoys sitting on her deck overlooking the Payette River, listening to classic rock with her husband Doug and dogs Ozzy and Girly.
