Skill Acquisition and Psychophysiology Lab

The Skill Acquisition and Psychophysiology (SAP) Lab is committed to pushing the boundaries of knowledge in motor skill acquisition and performance. The lab accomplishes its mission by investigating practice conditions that enhance motor performance and learning and using neuropsychological measures to uncover the cognitive processes underlying short- and long-term behavior adaptation. To address its research aims, the SAP Lab adopts a multidisciplinary approach that includes the implementation of behavioral methods, psychophysiology via electroencephalogram (EEG), metascience, and statistical modeling.
