School Group Requests

Thank you for your interest in Boise State University’s Albertsons Library. Although instruction for Boise State University students takes priority, we will try to accommodate your instruction requests based on librarian and classroom availability.

Contact Us:

Please plan your visit well in advance and contact Georgann Kurtz-Shaw, Head of Instruction & Research Services, at georgannkurtzsha@boisestate.edu for additional information or to place a request. If no instruction space is available:

You are still welcome to bring your students to the library. We encourage students to bring their own laptops/tablets. If contacted in advance, we can supply a temporary login to our resources for class groups. If students cannot bring their own devices, there are a limited number of guest computers available for one-hour use on a first-come basis. Guests must be at least 18 years old and are required to show a photo I.D. to receive a login and password.

Printing:

Printing requires students to purchase a print card and download printing software to their laptops, or they can save information to a flash drive.

Tours:

You also have the option of scheduling a short library tour without instruction.
