Accelerate Math Learning Collaborative

Accelerate Math Learning Collaboratives (AMLC) is a regional project sponsored by the Idaho State Board of Education to engage 30 teams of K-12 educations in improvement cycles to better meet the needs of students who are experiencing difficulty learning mathematics.

Project Goals

  • Use improvement cycles to accelerate math learning of students who are experiencing difficulty learning mathematics beyond ‘typical’ growth rates
  • Identify practices to support acceleration of math learning
  • Share practices broadly among Idaho educators
June 10 & 11

2024 Summer Institutes

Engaging activities, highlights from year 1, and plans for year 2. The focus is on “How can we use our collective expertise to better support students who are experiencing difficulty learning mathematics? ”

  • June 10th at College of Southern Idaho from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
  • June 11th at Boise State University from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm

Attendees will be eligible for 1 paid PD credit (a small amount of follow-up is required). We ask all team members to attend if possible, but we understand scheduling conflicts may prevent the entire team from attending. We’ll send more details in May but please email amlc@boisestate.edu with any questions.

2023 Summer Institutes
