BRONCO SHIELD Scholarship
BRONCO SHIELD CyberCorps Scholarship for Service
The BRONCO SHIELD CyberCorps Scholarship for Service (SFS) initiative is designed for students who are passionate about cybersecurity and intrigued by the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in enhancing cybersecurity measures, such as predicting and identifying threats, automating responses to incidents and enhancing the overall security posture. Cyberdome Internships
The Cyberdome is a collaborative platform for competency based development with the mission of reducing risk for rural communities while producing a “ready to work” cybersecurity workforce.
The Cyberdome provides students in their final year of schooling with six months of hands-on work experience by providing cybersecurity services to rural partners across Idaho. Students from across Idaho graduate from this program with extensive workplace development. Students graduate from the Cyberdome’s six-month program with 500 hours of experience, two industry certifications and a cyber-related degree, ready to step into professional cybersecurity positions.
DoD Cyber Service Academy
The Department of Defense Cyber Service Academy (DoD CSA) (formerly the DoD Cyber Scholarship Program) is both a scholarship program for the DoD, and a capacity building tool for the nation. DoD Cyber Service Academy Scholarships are intended for non-DoD/government employees who are enrolled in or applying to universities designated as a National Center of Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-C). Following graduation, students are eligible for full-time employment with various components and agencies across the DoD.
Must be U.S. citizen able to qualify for a security clearance
Graduate Research Fellowship Program
The NSF GRFP recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students who have demonstrated the potential to be high achieving scientists and engineers early in their careers. Applicants must be pursuing full-time research-based master’s and doctoral degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) or in STEM education at accredited US institutions. The five-year fellowship provides three years of financial support.
