Google Docs Introduces New Pageless Feature

Google Docs has introduced a new pageless feature to their settings.

Pageless format allows you to remove the boundaries of a page so that it continuously scrolls without page breaks. Images and line breaks will adjust to your screen size, and tables are viewable by scrolling left and right.

Change a document to pages or pageless format

  1. On your computer, open a document in Google Docs.
  2. Go to File > Page setup.
  3. At the top of the dialog window, select Pages or Pageless.
  4. Click OK to confirm.
  5. To change your pageless text width go to View > Text Width and select an option.

Some features are not available on pageless Google Docs. If your document contains columns, page numbers, headers and footers, page breaks, or watermarks and is converted to pageless, those elements will not be visible. You will need to switch your document back to the pages format to view the content again.
