Boise State will implement a new passphrase system later this summer to replace the current 90-day password renewal cycle. Passphrases will only require reset once per year.
Passphrases will require 15 or more characters. A unique, memorable phrase or sentence is recommended.
It will take a few months for the entire campus community to migrate to the new system as people will only transition to passphrases when their current password expires, or if they choose to reset their password for other reasons.
You will continue to use myBoiseState or your office computer to reset passphrases.
