eForms and Document Storage

Enterprise

  • Implement or upgrade University-wide systems to make significant impacts to core business functionality, data integrations, and process improvements.

Operations

  • Implement applications to improve business operations and user experience for select departments.

PeopleSoft and Oracle

  • Enhancements and upgrades to ERP systems including Campus Solutions, Oracle Financials Cloud (OFC), and Human Capital Management (HCM).

Web and Mobile

  • Create custom applications, such as myBoiseState, that provide creative, powerful functionality to end users and fill gaps in existing tools and systems.

Project Request Intake

Discovery

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews
  • Complete business case
  • Score and size project
  • Determine if this should be a project or if another solution meets the business needs

Add Project to the Prioritization Matrix and Roadmap

  • Review with OIT resource managers
  • Review project prioritization and roadmap drafts
  • Provide business case details
  • Discuss availability and confirm commitments for project resources
  • Resources could include development, accounts, security, communications, operations, support services, etc.

Develop Quarterly Project Roadmap

  • PMO updates roadmap based on prioritization, resources, and deadlines
  • Review project roadmap with OIT executives
  • Project roadmap to OIT leadership, ITPC, and executive team for awareness

  • Begin project processes
