Quarterly Project Prioritization Process

1. Project Request Intake- PMO Project Request Form
2. Discovery- Conduct interviews to complete the business case
- Score project for size and prioritization
- Determine if this should be a project or another solution meets the business needs
- Add project to the prioritization matrix and project portfolio
3. Review with OIT Resource Managers- Review project prioritization and project portfolio drafts
- Provide business case details
- Discuss availability and confirm commitments for project resources
- Resources could include development, accounts, security, communications, ops, customer care
4. Develop Quarterly Project Roadmap- PMO updates project portfolio based on size and prioritization scores
- Provide project portfolio to ITPC and Executive Team
5. Project Planning Begins- Assign PMO resources
- Organize project team and stakeholders
- Begin project processes
