Online Digital Innovation and Design Admissions

The online Digital Innovation and Design degree allows you to combine your passion for creativity and technology. It’s easy to get started and we are here to help you through the admission process all the way through graduation.

To qualify for the Digital Innovation and Design program, you must be admissible to Boise State as a degree-seeking student. You must also meet with a student success coach and submit a personal impact statement before being admitted to the program.

Application Deadlines by Semester

Admission is offered each fall, spring and summer semester. Space is limited, so early application is recommended. Admission decisions are made on a rolling basis. The priority deadlines to submit materials are:

*Students interested in financial aid are encouraged to apply one month prior to these posted deadlines.

To Apply For This Program

Step 1: Apply to Boise State University

To apply to the university, you must complete Boise State’s undergraduate application.

  • In the Semester and Major section of the application, indicate you are interested in taking courses “Entirely through online delivery.”
  • In the Semester and Major section of the application, select your academic area of interest from the major drop-down list.

Note: Students are required to meet with a student success coach before being admitted to the program.

Step 2: Request Official Transcripts

Contact the registrar offices of all the universities and colleges that you’ve attended to obtain transcripts that can be emailed to Boise State. You can also get a copy for yourself to reference.

If you have served in the military, please make sure to send your Joint Services Transcript and/or Community College of the Air Force transcript.

Step 3: Submit a Personal Impact Statement

After you are admitted to Boise State University, you will apply to the digital innovation and design program by submitting a personal impact statement.

This exercise allows you to demonstrate your skill in writing and consider how you will tailor your degree to your personal goals.
