Transfer and Non-Traditional Orientation
If you have 14 or more transferable credits that you completed AFTER high school and/or are beginning a college career at age 21 or older, New Student Orientation for Transfer & Non-Traditional students is for you.
For transfer/non-traditional students starting in the fall, New Student Orientation for Transfer & Non-Traditional students is a virtual process that allows you to complete advising and registration via Zoom or phone. We understand that you may still be actively enrolled at another school this summer, or be juggling extra responsibilities such as work, family or military service. This program is aimed to meet your needs efficiently and with flexibility. All new transfer and non-traditional students are expected to attend a Virtual Orientation in order to register for fall classes.

What to Expect
In your Virtual Orientation, you will:
- Receive academic advising via Zoom or by phone
- Register for your first semester of classes
- Learn how your credits will transfer
- Gain awareness of resources
- Make future plans to meet people and make friends
Do you require accommodations to fully participate in the orientation program?
If you need any accommodations for reading, seeing, hearing, language, or other disability-related needs to fully participate in the virtual orientation, please indicate that when you sign up for your orientation. If your situation has changed and you’ve already signed up for your orientation, please contact our office to update your orientation details.

The Outdoor Program offers unique and engaging ways for new students to make lasting memories, meet new people, and build community and connection.
All new students are welcome – no experience necessary! Knowledgeable student guides will help teach you along the way.
