Faculty Seeking Paid Research Assistant

Faculty (Drs. Campbell and McCrea) in the Department of Psychological Science are searching for a research assistant to work on a project analyzing effectiveness of wellbeing interventions at the Idaho Youth Ranch.

This position will begin on July 10th and run through the Fall and Spring semester, paying $16 per hour for ~8 hours of work per week. Hours will vary with more hours in the Summer (12-15 hours weekly) and less during the semester (4-8 hours weekly), with a large degree of flexibility. Most of the work can be performed remotely, but an on-campus office is also available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data management and statistical analysis
  • Report writing
  • Frequent and timely communication with project directors
  • Excel spreadsheet knowledge

Application Requirements

  • Junior or senior undergraduate student at Boise State University or graduate student
  • Completion of statistics and research methods courses
  • Demonstrated quantitative and analytical writing skills
  • Demonstrated self-directed problem-solving skills
