Resources for Non-Psychology Graduate Programs

There are also resources available at Boise State for students interested in applying to graduate programs in fields outside of psychology. Click on the links listed below to learn more about these resources. 

Health Professions

The College of Health Sciences (COHS) offers advising services for students interested in a variety of health professions (e.g., medicine, occupational therapy, speech language pathology, dentistry). Visit their website to learn more about different health professions and make an appointment with a pre-health professions advisor.  

Law

The School of Public Service (SPS) has a website dedicated to preparing students to apply for law school. The SPS Advising Center also offers drop-in office hours every semester – stop by to get more information about law school. 

Social Work

SocialWorkLicensure.org is a fantastic place to start if you are considering pursuing a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree. This website contains information about general prerequisite requirements, the application process, finding the social work graduate program that is right for you, and links to other useful social work-related resources.
