The Department of Public Safety is happy to offer the Holiday Shuttle again this year! We will be offering a no cost shuttle from the Brady Garage to the Boise Airport to ensure safe, efficient, and low-stress commuting for our Boise State community members traveling for the Thanksgiving holiday! This resource will be available to all campus students, staff, and faculty.
For convenience, Riders of the Bronco Holiday Shuttle will be approved to leave their car on the top floor of the Brady Garage from November 17, 2023 to November 27, 2023 without having to pay for extended or overnight parking if they ride the Bronco Shuttle as their transportation to the airport. Additionally, for those on campus who do not own a car and may choose to ride their bicycle to campus, extended indoor storage of bicycles for program participants will be made available in the Bike Barn.
Riders will board the shuttle at the Brady Garage and deboard at the Boise Airport. The shuttle will run on Friday, November 17, 2023 from 6 AM until 9 PM and on Monday, November 20, 2023 from 6 AM to 9 PM. The shuttle will complete a route every 30 minutes and will begin on the hour and half hour completing 30 trips to and from the airport that day. If you miss your shuttle time, please wait for the route to complete and the driver will be happy to help you board during the next route. If these times and days don’t meet your needs or you need a ride back to campus on your return, VRT Route 3 travels from the west side of campus to the airport 6 days a week. With a Bronco ID card, the fare for VRT buses is waived.
Extended and overnight parking on the top floor of the Brady Garage and/or bicycle storage in the Bike Barn is included in this program, but only available if you ride the shuttle. You do not need to bring a car or bicycle to be eligible. This benefit is provided for convenience.
If you choose to leave your car in the Brady Garage and/or bicycle in the Bike Barn for the duration of the Thanksgiving break, you must return and pick it up no later than Monday, November 27 at 5:00 p.m. If your travel back to Boise is delayed or you expect to be unable to meet this deadline, please call us at 208-426-7275 or email our team at parkingquestions@boisestate.edu so that we can support you.
