Intramural Sports Stories
Mitchell
If you’ve ever come to one of our events, you’ve probably seen Mitchell. Mitchell is a constant participant, playing on 28 teams (so far) at Boise State.
When asked about Intramural Sports, Mitchell said, “what an awesome opportunity it has been to meet some amazing people and stay active through Intramural Sports at Boise State, all while pursuing my education. I’ve made lifelong friends through the intramural community, whether they’re my teammates, opponents, or the intramural staff, and I look forward to each game knowing that it’s always a great time.”
TAYLOR
Taylor is another constant participant in our Intramural Sports program, playing in 142 games so far at Boise State.
When asked about Intramural Sports, Taylor said: “Sports have always been a huge part of my life and intramurals allows me to do the things I love with the people I love.”
MAX AND NICK
In the 2019-2020 school year, Max played basketball, football, tennis, and volleyball with us! Max loves Intramural Sports because they “helped me find my place on campus when I was a first-year student. Intramural Sports have introduced me to some of the best people I know.”
Nick played volleyball and flag football with us. Nick loves Intramural Sports because “it has introduced me to friends that I’ll have for life. We’re a close group that will drop anything to help a friend in need.”
SARAH
Last year, Sarah played flag football and volleyball with our Intramural Sports program. Sarah had the opportunity to play in two championship games this year, and even took home an Intramural Champion shirt!
When asked about Intramural Sports, Sarah said the best part was “meeting others who also love playing the sport I love.”
