New scholarships are added as we become aware of them. Check this site frequently.

Boise State University does not endorse any specific web site and is not responsible for the content on the various web sites. We ask companies and organizations to register with a national scholarship search website.

We also list information on the bulletin board outside of the Financial Aid Office, Room 113 in the Administration Building.

Boise State Foundation Scholarships- The Boise State Foundation administers 37 scholarships through this website. Each has its own eligibility criteria, application requirements, and review process. Please visit their website to learn more about the criteria.March 1 (Annually)
Boise State Horatio Alger Scholarship- The Horatio Alger Boise State University Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to students currently in their freshman year at Boise State University who have exhibited integrity and perseverance in overcoming personal adversity. Each year seven scholarships, valued at $10,000 each, will be awarded to deserving students at Boise StateMarch 15 (Annually)
The Lightfoot Foundation Scholarship. The Lightfoot Foundation is a non-profit organization helping Treasure Valley students wishing to further their education. Idaho Community Foundation- ICF manages over 70 different scholarship funds – each customized according to the desires of the fund creator. Each has its own eligibility criteria, application requirements, and review process. Many have their own applications, deadlines, and eligibility requirements. Matched Education Savings Account (MESA) - Credit unions are stepping up to help students achieve their educational aspirations through a partnership known as the Matched Education Savings Account (MESA). MESA bridges the gap by matching a student’s education savings 3:1. Program participants can turn $500 into $1,500 and apply the funds toward books and tuition.Varies
Sipes Foundation- Applications are accepted each year from currently-enrolled, upper-division or graduate students majoring in any earth science, geophysics or petroleum engineering who have an overall grade point average of 3.5 or higher and are U.S. Citizens.06/30/2020
Panda Cares Scholars Program- The Panda Cares Scholars Program is a selective scholarship program that advances higher education for community-minded and intellectually gifted students. The Panda Cares Scholars Program will award a three-year renewable scholarship for up to $15,500 (up to $3,500 sophomore year, up to $5,000 junior year and $7,000 senior year) to highly capable future leaders for America who demonstrate academic achievement, strong leadership skills and a commitment to community service.07/01/2020
