NEW CERTIFICATE

Creative Arts Technology

Boise State’s School of the Arts is excited to announce our new Creative Arts Technology (CAT) certificate. With just 12 credits, you can supplement your degree program starting in Fall 2025.

The CAT certificate complements your creative talents with training in interactive programming, animation, visual communication and generative artificial intelligence. These skills can help you grow your creative career after graduation and find work in a field that lets you flex your artistic abilities while supporting your professional goals.

You’ll take courses across all four School of the Arts departments—plus an Arts Entrepreneurship credit—to help you blend your creativity with technological tools.
