Community Partners

Welcome to Boise State Service-Learning!

Service-Learning is an educational approach that pairs classroom learning with community impact. We collaborate with community organizations to create meaningful, mutually beneficial opportunities where students apply academic learning through real-world service.

Whether you're exploring a new partnership or returning to deepen a connection, we’re excited to support you!

Here you’ll find step-by-step guidance to help you get started with hosting service-learning students, practical tools to design and manage impactful projects, and resources to ensure the course goals align with your organizational needs.

In addition, we offer pathways to connect with other Boise State resources, including internships, research, and facilities. Our goal is to build a strong, sustainable partnership, help you build capacity, and foster meaningful community engagement for students.
