Electives

Students have the option to have up to 3-6 credits of electives count toward their degree, depending upon whether they choose the comprehensive examination or thesis option for their culminating activity. Electives may be taken anywhere in the University but must be approved by the graduate coordinator. The student must demonstrate how the electives fit into their program of study and career objectives. Students should refer to the Graduate Catalog and/or the schedule of classes via their myBoiseState account for potential elective credits and get in contact with the graduate coordinator to discuss how such coursework might fit into their degree plan.

Note: Boise State graduates with any listed course in undergraduate work which applied to the undergraduate degree may not apply that course to the graduate degree.
