  • Mary Pauline Lowry will have a new book out, The Roxy Letters, this April, 2020.
  • Meghan Kenny’s debut novel, The Driest Season, is forthcoming from W.W. Norton in February 2018. Her collection of short stories, Love Is No Small Thing, was published in March 2017 by LSU Press.
  • Erin Rose Belair, a 2017 fiction graduate, was named third place winner of Narrative‘s 2017 Winter Story Contest. Read her winning story here. Erin also won first place in Glimmertrain’s Short Story Award for New Writers for her story “Rare Items from the Universe,” which she wrote in a workshop with Denis Johnson. Read her short essay about writing and that workshop experience.
  • Tim Griffith, a 2017 fiction graduate, has a story forthcoming in Tin House.
  • Ashley Barr, a 2017 poetry graduate, received two prestigious scholarships from the University of Sussex: the Sussex Future Leaders Masters Scholarship in English and a Chancellor’s International Scholarship.
