Committees and Councils

The Vice Provost for Academic Leadership and Faculty Affairs supports the work of several committees and councils related to faculty and academic leadership support and success.

Ad Hoc Committees

Academic Affairs Honors and Awards Committee

The Office of Academic Leadership and Faculty Affairs has organized a working committee that has been charged with 1) examining the ways that faculty and staff are currently recognized across the university and 2) recommending ways that the Office of the Provost might recognize and celebrate the achievements of our faculty and staff members in Academic Affairs. The work of this committee will contribute to the strategic goal of fostering a thriving community. It will help revise the Distinguished Professor Award and the Foundation Scholar Award processes as well as establish ongoing awards that honor the accomplishments of our community members.
