  • WHY: During virtual orientation, you will be able to register for classes, connect with academic advisors, meet new students, explore key campus resources and more! Please note, you cannot register for classes prior to virtual orientation. The summer semester is open enrollment, so students admitted for the summer will be able to register when registration opens. However, to continue onto the fall semester, they will need to complete a virtual orientation and an advising appointment.
  • WHEN: For students starting in the Fall Semester, virtual orientation registration opens in March. Virtual orientation will take place over the summer, prior to classes starting in late August. For students starting in the Spring Semester, virtual orientation registration opens in October. Virtual orientation will take place in December prior to classes starting in January.

STEP 6: SEND YOUR FINAL TRANSCRIPTS

You’ve worked so hard – don’t stop now, future Bronco! This is your last and most important step.

  • WHY: Whether you have just graduated high school or are transferring college credits to Boise State, we require students to submit all final transcripts in order to continue at Boise State.
  • WHEN: As soon as you have graduated high school and/or finished earning college credits, you can send us your official transcripts! We encourage transcripts to be sent prior to attending virtual orientation.

If you’ve earned college credits, your transcripts will be evaluated after you have been admitted. Your official Transfer Credit Report will be sent to your myBoiseState email. In the meantime, check out our Transfer Equivalency System (TES) for a sneak peak on how your credits will likely transfer to Boise State.

If transcripts are not received by your first semester at Boise State, you will not be able to sign up for the following semester’s classes, so make sure your transcripts are sent as soon as possible.

  • HOW: Connect with your school(s) directly to find out the best way to send your final transcripts to Boise State. Typically, you can request them through the school’s Registrar’s Office or your school counselor.
  • Questions? Contact your Admissions Counselor! If you have credit evaluation questions, feel free to contact the Office of the Registrar at (208) 426-4249 or regmail@boisestate.edu.
