Career Services offers several options for online students, students who are unable to come to campus for an appointment, and those who prefer a different appointment format than in-person.

Scheduling a Phone or Video Appointment

We recommend that you start by scheduling a video or phone appointment (whichever you prefer).

  1. Visit our Appointments page and click the button to Schedule an Appointment
  2. Use your Boise State credentials to log in to Handshake
  3. Click the button to Schedule a New Appointment
  4. Select a category based on what you need assistance with
  5. Choose the appointment type that best fits what you need help with (See descriptions of each appointment type here)
  6. Under Appointment Medium, select either Video or Phone
  7. Select an available appointment time
  8. Provide the information requested on the following page, then click the Request button

Email Appointments

Email is best if you just need to ask a simple question, or if you are unable to be available during any of the Online Career Counselor’s scheduled appointment times. To have the counselor respond to you via email, simply fill out the form by clicking the button below.
