Boise State University is regionally accredited by The Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities.

Boise State has been designated “Fully Accredited Program” status as of November 14, 2022 and is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Genetic Counseling, Inc., 7918 Jones Branch Drive, Ste. 300, McLean, VA 22102.  Telephone: (703) 506 – 7667 for six years.

Boise State University delivers online education programs and courses throughout the United States and internationally. Boise State protects its students and operations through nationwide compliance and participation in a voluntary State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA) encompassing most states. Elsewhere, Boise State University has been granted authorization or exemption or can operate without authorization because the state’s laws do not pertain to a public institution, to an accredited institution or to the University’s activities in that state.
