Fall migration has begun!

With the scorching heat lately it’s hard to believe, but many of our bird species are already heading south for the winter.

That means IBO’s fall migration projects are gearing up. We’d love to have you visit us and learn about our conservation and research work.

Visit IBO this fall

  • Visit our Boise River Banding Station at the Diane Moore Nature Center on select dates in September and October. Register here.
  • Visit our Lucky Peak station to see songbirds, raptors, and owls. We are open daily (weather allowing) now through October. Learn more about times and dates for each project on our Lucky Peak Project page.

Educators:

Schedule a school field trip to the Diane Moore Nature Center or an unforgettable overnight group campout at our Lucky Peak station.
