Enhance your individual skills and explore your artistic personality through creative foundations and fundamentals, masterclasses, morning warm-ups, workshops, meditation, flute orchestra, and chamber ensembles. Who should attend?

Advanced high school to college undergraduate and graduate, professional, and flutists of all ages who are ready to be inspired, challenged, and move to the next level of musicianship and artistry. (Audition recording required for performer and participant categories; see registration form)

  • PERFORMER (limited to 12): $600*
    Performers are involved in all aspects of Passion Flute: Two Masterclass performances, warm-ups, Appassionata Flute Orchestra, chamber ensembles, recitals, one private lesson with Nicole Molumby and workshops. You will gain technical and artistic insights and inspiration from passionate master teachers.
  • APPASSIONATA FLUTE ORCHESTRA PART: $400*
    Announcing the Appassionata Flute Orchestra—an exciting opportunity for flute orchestra enthusiasts to attend Passion Flute 2023! Designed for the advanced amateur, university student, and professional flutist, the Appassionata Flute Orchestra will perform a variety of challenging flute choir repertoire. Join us for a high-energy experience to enhance your ensemble skills through daily rehearsals and performances with ZAWA! and on the final Passion Flute Concert. AFO Participants also have the opportunity to participate in morning warm-ups, and attend masterclasses, daily workshops, and recitals.

Chamber Ensembles

Passion Flute Performers will refine collaborative skills in trios, quartets, or quintets. From day one to the final concerts, groups will learn a new piece to build a musically and technically outstanding performance. In addition, you will add your creative juices to the mix and give us a “show” in the best sense of the word!

Boise, Idaho

Housing, Parking and Food Plans (Optional)

  • Housing = 5 nights and 4 days $200.00
  • Meals = $250 three meals/4 days on campus
  • Parking = $15 for Brady Garage permit for 4 days
