We’re smack dab in the middle of one of the fastest-growing cities in America. How’d we get so popular? Schucks, maybe it’s because we’re just so darn nice or maybe it’s the outdoor wonderland that surrounds our sensational little city. Whatever the reason may be, there is no better time than summer to come stay awhile and give us a test run, we’ve got plenty to keep you busy…If you’d like some personal recommendations, we’d be happy to share our favorite spots around town.

Greenbelt

One of Boise’s greatest assets, the Greenbelt spans over 25 miles along the Boise River with paved trails lining the North and South side and a plethora of activities, parks, waterways, etc. along the way. Check out the Greenbelt’s map and sights along the path.

Ridge to Rivers

Campus Amenities

Campus Dining Hours

Several campus dining options are open throughout the summer.  For more details, visit Dining Services to see the hours for campus eateries.  If your group has needs outside of the summer hours of operation, please email Event Services to arrange for catering.

Rec Center

The campus Recreation Center offers summer guests several options to take advantage of their extensive facility.  Proof of affiliation and identification is required for access. Members can show a conference schedule, tag, badge ID, housing key, etc.

1. Day passes for $6
2. 5-day punch card pass for $25 or 10-day punch card pass for $45 to use sequentially or whenever you decide
3. Month passes

Student Union Game Center

The Student Union Game Center offers darts, Air Hockey, Ping Pong, Foosball, billiards, bowling, and the latest video and board games!

Summer Hours: Sunday – Saturday 10:00 am – 10:00pm

Parking

If you’re bringing a car, bus, or ADA vehicle to campus, be sure to order an overnight parking permit through your group coordinator or reach out directly to guesthousing@boisestate.edu to order your permit prior to your arrival. Rates are listed on the “Guest Housing Rates ” page.
